2027 Elections: Prophet Predicts Goodluck Jonathan’s Return to Aso Rock
The General Overseer of Mount Zion Divine Gospel Ministry Inc., Prophet Bomadi Serimoedumu, has prophesied that former President Goodluck Jonathan will reclaim the presidency in 2027, predicting a period of economic prosperity and national jubilation under his leadership.
Speaking during a Sunday service at the church’s Paradise City Zion headquarters in Bomadi, Serimoedumu widely referred to by followers as the “Field Marshall of the Prophetic” and “Secret Revealer of the Niger Delta” said he received a divine revelation showing Jonathan’s victory under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) banner.
“I see President Goodluck Jonathan in Aso Rock leading this country again. If he chooses to run in 2027, he will return as President. There will be prosperity, and the people will rejoice,” he declared.
According to the cleric, the vision featured the PDP flag “flying high” with Jonathan at the forefront, symbolizing electoral success. He claimed the prophecy points to four years of economic growth and happiness for Nigerians.
The prophet also recounted a separate vision tied to the 2023 elections, in which President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima appeared to him. In the vision, Serimoedumu said, Tinubu promised to serve only one term in office and sought his spiritual endorsement — a pledge Shettima allegedly appeared unhappy about.
“I saw Tinubu seated on a chair with Shettima on the floor beside him. Tinubu asked for my support, promising to run only one term. However, Shettima seemed displeased with this one-term plan,” Serimoedumu claimed.
The prophecy comes amid growing speculation over the 2027 presidential race and whether Jonathan, who served as president from 2010 to 2015, will stage a political comeback.
The PDP has yet to announce its official candidate for the election. While religious prophecies often stir debate in Nigeria’s political landscape, Serimoedumu maintained that his revelations are “awe-inspiring secret things” meant to guide the nation’s future.
