2027: Zone PDP Presidential Ticket to Wike to Avoid 2023 Mistakes – FredFish

Tom FredFish, a prominent PDP member and Chairman of PDP Advocates for Peace and Justice (PAPAJ), has urged the party to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to the South-South, specifically to Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike.

Speaking during a media briefing in Uyo, FredFish said this move would restore peace and uphold the party’s zoning principle.

He criticized the PDP’s ongoing reconciliation efforts as futile without addressing zoning, claiming Wike is the only viable southern candidate capable of defeating President Tinubu.

According to him, Wike possesses the financial strength, political influence, and judicial reach to revive the PDP.

FredFish also accused Wike of weakening the party while supporting the APC, but insisted the PDP should give him the ticket to reveal his true intentions.

He concluded that only Wike could prevent further defections and rebuild the party’s strength.
