22-Year-Old Tyler Robinson Allegedly Confesses to Killing Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk

Tyler Robinson, 22, the prime suspect in the shooting of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, has allegedly admitted to the killing.

Charlie Kirk tragically died on September 10, 2025, after being shot while delivering a speech at Utah Valley University. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) quickly launched an investigation into the incident and identified Tyler Robinson as the suspected perpetrator. He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

According to posts seen on TMZ’s Instagram, Robinson allegedly confessed that his actions were driven by personal hatred for Kirk.

In the messages, he reportedly wrote: “If I’m unable to grab my rifle unseen, I will have no evidence left. Going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on.” The texts suggest that Robinson had been planning the attack for over a week.

Following the tragedy, Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s wife, spoke publicly for the first time during a live conference at Turning Point USA.

She tearfully explained that her husband was targeted because of the values he preached patriotism, faith, and God’s mercy. The couple, married since May 8, 2021, share two children.
