“Wizkid begged to be featured in my song” – Asake

Asake, a Nigerian singer, revealed that Wizkid reached out to him to feature on his song “MMS” after producer P. Prime played it for him.

Asake initially had someone else in mind for the song, but Wizkid’s enthusiasm led to the collaboration. “MMS” debuted on Asake’s album “Lungu Boy” and broke records on Spotify Nigeria with 870,000 first-day streams.

Additionally, “Lungu Boy” became the African album with the biggest first-day streams on Spotify, garnering 9.42 million streams globally.
