Labour Party wins majority votes in Bauchi despite not fielding a candidate.

The Labour Party in Bauchi State, despite not having a candidate, has received the highest number of votes in the Bogoro councillorship election held in Lusa B Ward of Bogoro Local Government Area.

As a result, the Bauchi State Independent Electoral Commission declared the candidate from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, Lucy Ahmadu Yusuf, who came in second, as the winner and the newly elected councillor representing Lusa B Ward.

The Labour Party received 2,200 votes, while the PDP’s Lucy Ahmadu Yusuf closely followed with 2,168 votes. The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mbam Masoyi, came third with 275 votes.
