PDP’s Candidate, Dr. Ibenaku Onoh, Takes Campaign to Independence Layout Ward 11, Ihenwuzi/Onuato Ward 3, Promoting Disruptive Innovations.
The campaign team of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Onoh and Hon. Echezona Ugwu took their message of New Possibilities to the residents of Independence Layout Ward 11 and Ihenwuzi/Onuato Ward 3.
Addressing a jubilant crowd, Dr. Onoh outlined his key campaign priorities, which include infrastructural development, enhanced security, improved healthcare, youth engagement/empowerment, and key investments in the education sector. He assured the people that, if elected, he would replicate the transformative strides Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is making at the state level within Enugu North Local Government.
Dr. Onoh also highlighted several ongoing state government projects within the wards, such as the construction of an international conference center, construction of a five-star hotel, upgrade of Presidential Hotel, upgrade of water infrastructure and the multiple roads being constructed within the wards. He emphasized that these projects reflect the state government’s commitment to transforming the area.
In response, residents praised Governor Mbah’s achievements, expressing their gratitude for the governor’s efforts in uplifting their community. They also reaffirmed their unwavering support for the PDP and Dr. Onoh’s candidacy ahead of the September 21, 2024, election. The residents expressed confidence that Dr. Onoh’s leadership would more progress to the local government, building on Governor Mbah’s work.

Chinedu Okwu (Otaka); Ward Chairmen Nwafor Raphael Anike (Ihenwuzi) and Hon. Ekene Ani (Independence Layout); Hon. Chuka Anyogu (former Commissioner for Science and Technology); Barr. Dubem Anibeze (former Secretary, Enugu North); Hon. Emeka Anyogu (former Deputy Mayor, Enugu North); Hon. Abuchi Ugwu (immediate past Secretary, Enugu North) among others.
