“World Teachers’ Day: Enugu North LG Chairman Hails Teachers, Says Their Work in Shaping Future Leaders Is Appreciated”

Teachers all over the world, especially in Enugu North Local Government Area of Enugu State, have been urged, to continued their good works as builders of society.

The Chairman of Enugu North Local Government Area, Dr. Ibenaku Onoh, made this known on Saturday in a press release to commemorate World Teachers’ Day.

He stated that the tireless work and dedication of teachers continue to lay the foundation for a brighter tomorrow for our children, making them assets to all.

He praised their hard work in guiding children, nurturing talents, building character, and inspiring dreams, while helping to raise future leaders who will contribute positively to society.

The city mayor assured that his administration is fully committed to improving the welfare and working conditions of teachers in Enugu North.

He also acknowledged the challenges faced by teachers and reiterated that his administration will partner with the state government in providing better resources and opportunities to make their job easier and more fulfilling.

Today, as we celebrate the World Teachers’ Day, I extend my greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all teachers, especially those in Enugu North Local Government Area. Since 1994, this day has been set aside to recognize and honor the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the future of individuals and communities. Your tireless work and dedication continues to lay the foundation for a brighter tomorrow for our children.

Teachers are not just educators; they are the builders of society. Through hard work, they guide our children, the future leaders, towards success. They play a key role in nurturing talents, building character, and inspiring dreams.


As a Government, we remain fully committed to improving the working conditions and welfare of our teachers. We understand the challenges faced and will continue to work towards providing better working resources and opportunities to make the job easier and more fulfilling.
