Tems Thanks Seyi Sodimu for Allowing Her to Sample ‘Love Me Jeje’ in Grammy-Winning Song.

Tems, the R&B star, has expressed gratitude to veteran singer Seyi Sodimu for permitting her to sample his 1997 classic hit ‘Love Me Jeje’ in her Grammy-winning song of the same title.

Tems’ ‘Love Me Jeje’ took home the Best African Music Performance award at the 67th annual Grammy Awards.

Tems took to social media to thank Seyi Sodimu for his role in supporting and clearing the sample.

She described his ‘Love Me Jeje’ as a “timeless classic” and expressed excitement that the song is finally receiving accolades due to her remix.
