APC Holds Key Meetings, Generates Substantial Funds from Nomination Forms

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has held a series of high-level meetings, including a national caucus gathering presided over by President Bola Tinubu.

This meeting took place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.

The national caucus meeting brought together key stakeholders, including past and present presidents, vice presidents, governors, national assembly leaders, and top party officials.

The gathering provided an opportunity for party leaders to discuss key matters and chart new pathways for the APC’s future success.

Issues such as the scheduling of a non-elective convention, the formation of party standing committees, and the establishment of the Progressive Institute (TPI) were on the agenda.

Following the caucus meeting, the APC’s National Executive Committee (NEC) convened on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the party’s national secretariat.

This NEC meeting was the first in 18 months and focused on party policies, upcoming elections, and strategies for national governance.

The NEC also discussed financial and audit reports for the 2022/2023 fiscal year, the budget proposal for 2025, and the payment of check-off dues by National Assembly members and federal appointees.

During these meetings, President Tinubu received a vote of confidence from party members, who praised his administration’s efforts to improve the economy.

The president emphasized the need to resolve ongoing conflicts within the party and called for collaboration among state leader.

In addition to these strategic meetings, the APC has generated substantial funds from the sale of nomination forms for upcoming elections.

This financial boost is expected to support the party’s campaign efforts and strengthen its position ahead of key polls.
