Atiku Abubakar Praises Lagos Corper for Speaking Out Against Economic Hardship

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has commended Ushie Uguamaye, a Lagos-based corps member known as Raye, for her courage in speaking out against the rising cost of living in Nigeria.

Raye had shared a viral video criticizing the Tinubu-led government and highlighting the harsh economic conditions in the country, including inflation and poor living conditions in Lagos.

Atiku praised Raye’s boldness and wisdom, likening her to historical female activists like Gambo Sawaba and Funmilayo Ransom-Kuti.

He emphasized the need to support rather than suppress voices like hers, saying Raye deserves encouragement and support for speaking truth to power.
