PDP Crisis: NEC to Expel Unruly Members by May 27 – Bode George

PDP chieftain Bode George says the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) will meet on May 27 to expel members who violate party rules.

Speaking on Channels TV, George criticized politicians who prioritize personal gain over public interest and called for a return to the party’s founding principles.

He stressed that the NEC has the authority to discipline members and restore order. The PDP has faced internal strife since the 2023 elections, with some members openly backing the APC.

Recently, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike declared he would stay in the PDP while supporting President Tinubu’s 2027 reelection, deepening party divisions.
