Jasmine, Mr Ibu’s Adopted Daughter, Clears Her Name and Is Released from Police Custody After Weeks.

Jasmine Okafor, who is the adopted daughter of renowned actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has been exonerated from the accusations made against her.

Last month, Jasmine and Mr Ibu’s son were apprehended and held at Alagbon Police Station. The news was brought to light by Doris Ogala, an actress, who alleged that Mr Ibu’s wife had orchestrated the arrest because Jasmine was supposedly involved in transferring N300 million from the actor’s account.

Sources claim that Mr. Ibu’s wife had requested the funds meant for her husband’s medical treatment to be used for purchasing a new house.

However, after nearly two weeks, Jasmine was released from police custody, and her name was cleared of all allegations. In an online video, a man declared Jasmine innocent and revealed that their investigation indicated she had no involvement in the money transfers.

“Finally, the matter concerning Jasmine and Mr Ibu’s family has been resolved. Our findings have confirmed that Jasmine had no connection whatsoever to the transferred funds, as stated by the man in the video”.
