Lack of family support didn’t deter skit maker, ZicSaloma, from pursuing his talent.

Isaac Aloma, also known as ZicSaloma, a well-known skit maker and singer, recently revealed that his decision to pursue a career in entertainment was not supported by his family.

He stated that only his mother stood by him, as his four brothers would always discourage him whenever he attempted to sing at home while growing up. ZicSaloma, who is the youngest son, recalled how his elder brothers would even destroy his music cassettes because they did not want him to pursue music.

In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, he admitted that even when he started creating content, his family members continued to oppose his endeavors.

He revealed that his brothers never believed in him, but despite their lack of support, he has become the most successful member of the family. Reflecting on this journey, he mentioned that during a competition in South Africa, he was only accompanied by his mother as none of his brothers had ever shown support.
