Yul Edochie responds to critics regarding spurious prophecy.

Renowned Nollywood actor turned cleric, Yul Edochie, has recently responded to the critics of his inaccurate prediction about the AFCON 2023 final.

Reports revealed that Yul had earlier forecasted that the Nigeria Super Eagles would emerge victorious against Ivory Coast in the final match.

In a recent Instagram post, he mentioned, “Today’s game will not go into a penalty shootout. Nigeria will confidently defeat Ivory Coast.”

Despite his prediction, the Super Eagles encountered a 2-1 loss against Ivory Coast.

Following the defeat, Nigerian social media users flocked to Yul’s page to convey their frustration and brand his prediction as misleading.

Expressing his thoughts amidst the criticism, Yul addressed on his page, “All is well. Thank you, Super Eagles. Reaching the finals is a commendable feat. We are proud of all the players. Tremendous efforts displayed throughout the tournament.”

“Win or lose, good or bad, we’ve been here. I love my country Nigeria. Better days ahead. Giant of Africa”.
