Bobrisky Falls Short Of Meeting Bail Criteria Set By EFCC
Bobrisky, the well-known and controversial cross-dresser, is currently facing challenges with meeting the bail conditions issued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Following his detention by the Lagos State Command of the EFCC on Wednesday, Bobrisky was held for alleged offenses including naira mutilation, abuse of the currency, and the public display and throwing of naira notes.
The spokesperson for the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, revealed on Thursday that Bobrisky had been granted administrative bail but has so far been unable to fulfill the bail requirements.
In a statement released by the EFCC on Thursday, it was mentioned that the investigation into Bobrisky’s actions was initiated after a video surfaced showing him showcasing and spraying large amounts of new naira notes at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie “Ajakaju” at the Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
The EFCC further stated that their findings indicated that Bobrisky had allegedly engaged in similar activities at various other event venues and parties on multiple occasions.
