“Older generation not happy in marriages” – Denola Grey

Renowned media personality, Denola Grey, criticized African parents who coerce their children into marriage during a recent podcast discussion.

Speaking on a podcast episode earlier this week, Denola argued that a significant number of marriages are rooted in a sense of “slavery,” with many individuals enduring a state of unhappiness within their marital relationships.

Denola emphasized that when he eventually opts to establish a family unit, it will be alongside a companion he genuinely loves, not simply someone he endures or tolerates in a marital context.

‘’When will you marry? When will you fix your marriage? How about that? I don’t know why they are so obsessed with marriage because a lot of them are not in happy marriages, especially like the older generation.

“I’m like so you want me to just meet someone, marry them and just be managing them. Like, I hate slavery”.
