Funeral Rites for Nollywood Legend, Mr Ibu Commence in Enugu.

The funeral ceremonies for renowned Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, have begun in his ancestral hometown of Amuri, located in the Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Mr. Ibu passed away in March 2024, at the age of 62, due to cardiac arrest complications in Lagos. His death followed a lengthy battle with health issues, which led to the amputation of one of his legs.

The late actor rose to fame in 2004 with the hit movie “Mr. Ibu,” alongside fellow actor, the late Ita Iheme. Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Ibu appeared in over 200 Nollywood films,
