Activist Calls on FCT Minister Wike to Fix Dangerous Nyanya Hospital Road

Lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has called on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike to urgently address the deplorable condition of the road leading to Nyanya Hospital in Abuja.

Adeyanju shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing the untarred and damaged road, highlighting how its poor state could delay patients seeking medical care.

He criticised the minister’s priorities, arguing that repairing essential infrastructure should take precedence over personal trips abroad or media appearances.

In his post, Adeyanju wrote:
“Fixing this road would serve the people better than taking your children to Dubai or appearing on Channels TV to make noise.”

The video quickly went viral, sparking widespread public reactions. Many Nigerians have since called on the FCT administration to take immediate action to rehabilitate the road and improve access to the hospital.
