ADC Spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi Raises Urgent Alarm Over Kwara’s Insecurity: “Bandits and Kidnappers Have Made My Farms Inaccessible”

The Interim National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has issued a stark warning about worsening insecurity under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, revealing that he can no longer safely access his farms in Kwara State due to rampant banditry and kidnappings.

Speaking to journalists in Ilorin, Abdullahi lamented the deteriorating security situation in areas once considered peaceful, such as Patigi, Ifelodun, and Babanla, now plagued by violent criminals. He emphasized that this escalating crisis has left ordinary Nigerians vulnerable, with many unable to pursue their livelihoods or maintain basic safety.

Abdullahi called on Nigerians to unite behind the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections, positioning the party as the viable alternative to the ruling APC. He highlighted the devastating impact of fuel price hikes and the growing hunger affecting millions, underscoring that many Nigerians no longer trust the current government to address these challenges.

“The most important thing is that our job is half done with the current hunger ravaging the land. The major task now is convincing Nigerians that we are the true alternative,” Abdullahi said. “Nigerians suffering today are clear they don’t want APC anymore.”

He further criticized how the APC government’s policies have inflated fuel costs, increased the cost of schooling, and worsened everyday hardships, driving citizens away from the ruling party. Abdullahi urged the electorate to reject the administration that has “turned the country into chaos” and embrace the ADC’s fresh hope for peace, stability, and economic relief.

His testimony reveals not only the physical dangers facing residents of Kwara’s rural communities but also signals a growing political crisis fueled by insecurity and economic struggle. Abdullahi’s appeal is both a call to action against worsening lawlessness and a bid to restore faith in Nigeria’s political future through the ADC.

This report highlights the urgent security challenges crippling parts of Nigeria and the rising clamor for political change as 2027 elections approach.
