Adesua Etomi Opens Up About Life-Threatening Emergency Surgery in the UK

Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has revealed how she narrowly escaped death after undergoing an emergency surgery while in the United Kingdom earlier this year.

Sharing her experience on Instagram, the award-winning actress said the terrifying ordeal happened in June during a trip with her husband, Banky W, and their two sons.

According to her, the surgery was the least dramatic part of what she went through, describing the entire event as “horrific.”

Adesua disclosed that she was in the UK for two speaking engagements when the incident occurred, adding that if any small detail of that day had gone differently, she might not have survived.

She expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing her life and said she could “trace God’s hand all over the situation.”

Reflecting on the experience, the Wedding Party star said the ordeal strengthened her faith and renewed her sense of purpose.

She urged her fans to live with compassion, kindness, and gratitude, noting that she would never again take any day for granted.

Adesua, who has previously shared her experiences with pregnancy complications and her husband’s health battles, said the near-death experience reaffirmed her belief that “God is real.”
