ADF elects new executives, as Chukwudelunzu emerges President.
The Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF), a pan-Igbo socio-ecomomic, socio-political and intellectual global group, has elected new executives to serve for next five years as Nze Emeka Chukwudelunzu emerges President.
The election, which was held under the leadership and direction of Emeritus Prof. Uzodinma Nwala, was successfully and peacefully conducted.
Comrade Osita Chukwumagbanarinam, ADF Administrative Secretary, said in a statement on Tuesday in Enugu that the election held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, remained the only legitimate and credible election of officers into the various executive positions in ADF.
The statement said that the Electoral Committee headed by Dr. Kachi Nwoga, former Gubernatorial Candidate in Imo State, and Comrade Osita Chukwumagbanarinam as Secretary, organized the election in six centers across the globe (world).
It said the centres included
Enugu, Anambra, Imo, Abuja, Abia and Diaspora, adding that “this is in response to the demands of the membership of all over the world.”
The statement said: “The Election was hitch free in all the centres.
“It should be noted that this is the only legitimate and credible election by ADF in line with the transition process and the ADF Constitution.
“The officers that were elected are:
Nze Emeka Chukwudelunzu as President of ADF; Col. Joel Ogbonna as Vice President Diaspora; Architect Eric Eyuchae as Vice President National; Captain Casmir Nwafor as Secretary and Engr. Vincent Obi as Deputy Secretary.
“Others are: Chief Alex Okemiri as
Financial Secretary; Mazi Onochie Ukeme as Treasurer; Prof.Philip Akah as Legal Advicer; Mazi Oluchi Ibeh as Publicity Secretary; Mr. Ndubuisi Anienugu as Deputy Publicity Secretary; Prince Solomon Udochukwu as National Organizing Secretary; Comrade Linda Chinwendu as Welfare Officer and Comrade Joachim Anyanwu as Membership Secretary”.
It said that these officers-elect would be issued certificate of return and sworn-in on the July 13, 2024 at the Dr. Micharel Okpara Auditorium Umuahia (Government House) Abia State, during the commemoration of the 10th year anniversary of ADF.
