“After God, Na Politics”: Tacha Hints at Future in Governance, Says It’s Time to Get Involved
Former BBNaija star and popular influencer Natacha Akide, widely known as Tacha, has sparked conversations online after expressing a possible interest in venturing into politics.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Pidgin, Tacha explained that her growing passion for governance stems from a genuine desire to help Nigerians and influence policies that affect daily life.
“I feel that if you constantly complain about problems, it makes sense to step in and be part of the decision-making process,” she said. “People always say after God comes politics — and it’s true. Government policies can shape our lives in powerful ways, so getting involved is only logical.”
While she hasn’t confirmed any specific political ambitions yet, Tacha emphasized that she’s currently using her platform to promote good governance, accountability, and youth participation in leadership.
The reality star’s remarks have drawn praise from many of her followers, who see her as a bold voice for civic responsibility and political awareness among Nigeria’s younger generation.
