“An Orphan to being the best graduating student in Esut” -Ikenna Chinagorom

The overall best graduating student of Enugu State University of science and Technology(ESUT) Comrade Ikenna Ezinwa Chinagaorom has shared the story behind his academic Journey.
COmrade Ezenwa who disclosed this to journalist during an online interview on Sunday , stated that Having lost his mother and a few siblings, and then his father.
It did not just affected him psychologically but also financially, as it created several breaks in my academics He added .

He would sometimes go to the village to stay with his grandfather. And Aunt assisted him in whatever ways they could, making sure he continued academically. He served in his church as a cross-bearer, only for people to later notice that he was not in school. And it was there that he found helpers who pushed him to university level He said .
Mr. Ikenna also shared that “whatever you are doing, always note that someone is watching.”He also shared how he had struggled to get textbooks and how a few professors and lecturers had assisted him by helping him get novels and other textbooks. He acknowledged them for their kind deeds and assistance that made him who he is now.
He advised every student should try to be the best, which were the last words of his father—to be the best and to take care of his only surviving sister He said.
I secerely want to acknowledge my friends, the church, and other persons.Mr. Ikenna, despite all these struggles, was able to come out not just as the best in his faculty but as the overall best in the school with 4.7 CGPA.
My story serves as a call to not just orphans but to every student: your background doesn’t determine your success and shouldn’t be a setback to any student going through struggles. Your goal should be your main pursuit, and with hard work and discipline, you will be able to achieve it ,He emphasized.
