Anambra SBMC Task Team Inaugurated to Restore Discipline in State Schools

The Anambra State Task Team of the School Based Management Committee (SBMC) has affirmed its readiness to restore sanity and discipline among teachers and students in both primary and secondary schools across the state.

This commitment was declared by the Chairman of the Task Team Prof. Stephen Ufoaroh, during the inauguration of the Task Force at the ASUBEB headquarters in Awka.

Prof. Ufoaroh emphasized the team’s determination to address disciplinary challenges and foster an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.

The Task Team is set to work closely with educational stakeholders to implement strategies that will improve behavior enhance academic standards, and promote order within schools.

The formation of the Task Team is part of Anambra State’s broader efforts to strengthen educational governance and ensure that schools provide safe, disciplined and productive spaces for learners.

The initiative also aligns with the goals of the School Based Management Committees to enhance community involvement and accountability in school administration.
