APC Chieftain Insists Presidency Cannot Return to North in 2027 Due to Buhari’s Eight-Year Tenure.

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Uche Nwosu, has reiterated that the presidency cannot return to the North in 2027, citing former President Muhammadu Buhari’s completion of eight years in office.

Nwosu emphasized that the southern part of the country should be allowed to complete its eight-year tenure, just like the North did under Buhari’s leadership.

He argued that it would be unfair and unjust to suggest that power should return to the North in 2027, given that President Bola Tinubu, a southerner, is currently in office.

Nwosu also addressed the agitation for power shift to the South-East zone, advising that the people of the zone should allow Tinubu to finish his tenure before making demands.

He cautioned against judging the Tinubu government too early, highlighting the president’s achievements in socio-economic and infrastructural development.

According to Nwosu, Nigerians should give the government more time to prove itself, rather than rushing to conclusions about its performance.
