APC launches campaign council.

On Friday, the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) launched its campaign council for the governorship election scheduled for September 21, 2024.

The council consists of 36 directorates, including a chairman, a director general, and other positions. It also has a Deputy Director General of Operations and Administration, a secretary, and coordinators in the three senatorial districts.

Former governor and current senator, Adams Oshiomhole, inaugurated the campaign council and stated that all members of the party in over 4,000 units, 192 wards, and 18 local government areas are part of the council.

Oshiomhole expressed confidence that the APC would democratically win the upcoming election and urged members to work hard to secure victories in their respective units, wards, and local governments.
