APC National Chairman Projects Convincing Win in 2027 Elections
Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Sunday predicted a decisive victory for the ruling party in the 2027 general elections, citing increasing national support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Yilwatda made the statement in Abuja while hosting leaders of the Women Leaders Support Advancement, a political advocacy group promoting greater inclusion of women in governance.
“Our party is fully prepared for the future, and by the grace of God, the APC will win convincingly in 2027,” the APC Chairman declared.
He highlighted the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said has expanded political participation for women and youths and aligned with public demands for inclusive leadership.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu is deliberately structured to address the concerns of women, youths, and all Nigerians who desire good governance and inclusive leadership,” he said.
Yilwatda called on Nigerian women to remain steadfast in supporting the President, emphasizing their importance in the APC’s grassroots mobilisation efforts.
“I want to appreciate your dedication and encourage you to remain consistent in taking the message of the APC to every community in Nigeria,” he added. “Women remain the backbone of political mobilisation, and your role is critical to our success.”
The visit also allowed the women’s organisation to pledge deeper engagement across the country. Dr. Martina Yilwatda, the group’s matron and co-founder, urged members to strengthen their presence at the grassroots level.
“This platform must not only exist in name but must be felt in the homes, markets, and communities of our women,” she said. “We must strengthen grassroots mobilisation, especially among women and youths, to deepen political participation and national development.”
Deborah Hornecker, the founder of the group, accompanied by secretary Zainab Musa, expressed appreciation for the support of the APC chairman and his wife, pledging to mobilise women nationwide in support of the party for the 2027 elections.
Yilwatda’s projection underscores APC’s ongoing efforts to consolidate structures nationwide and refine its strategy ahead of the 2027 race.
