“APC Won’t See It Coming in 2027” – Kenneth Okonkwo Says Powerful Political Alliance Will Shake Nigeria’s Ruling Party
Veteran actor and political figure, Kenneth Okonkwo, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is in for a massive political upset in the 2027 general elections, hinting at a strategic coalition brewing behind the scenes.
Speaking during a live appearance, the former spokesperson for the Labour Party’s Presidential Campaign Council revealed that a powerful alliance spearheaded by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and several other political heavyweights is gaining momentum and will leave the APC blindsided when the time comes.
“Just know that I’m part of this coalition,” Okonkwo confidently stated. “I can tell you about the engine room of this movement something many people are still unaware of. APC will not know what hit them in 2027.”
His comments have sparked widespread political speculation, especially considering the unlikely blend of figures involved in the emerging alliance, bridging ideological gaps between opposition parties and political veterans from across the country.
Okonkwo, a seasoned lawyer and actor turned politician, also took the opportunity to criticize the current state of governance and political complacency in the ruling party, suggesting that the electorate is eager for a radical shift in leadership.
Although details of the coalition’s roadmap remain under wraps, insiders suggest it could reshape Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of the next presidential race. Many see this as a potential “third force” capable of challenging the dominance of both APC and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
As 2027 draws closer, Nigerians are watching with keen interest to see whether this political undercurrent will swell into a wave strong enough to disrupt the status quo.
