Architect Onyekachi Calls on Youths to Pursue Sustainable Skills for Success
Youths across Nigeria have been urged to embrace hard work as the most reliable path to economic freedom.
The Managing Director of Powell Homes and Shelters Limited, Architect Chibuikem Emmanuel Onyekachi, shared this message on Monday while addressing newsmen in Enugu.
Architect Onyekachi highlighted the power of diligence and resilience, noting how these qualities can open doors to opportunities and economic independence. He encouraged young people to focus on building sustainable skills and ventures rather than seeking quick gains.
According to him, “Our nation needs young minds who are not only willing to dream big but also ready to put in the hard work to make those dreams a reality.”
Reflecting on Nigeria’s economy, he pointed out that hard work remains essential for those aiming to overcome financial challenges. He expressed optimism that, with a strong work ethic, youths could find ways out of financial difficulties. “When young people commit themselves to purposeful work and development, they set a foundation for personal growth and national progress.”
He also urged both government and private sectors to support youth-focused programs that promote skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. These initiatives, he believes, would provide young Nigerians with the necessary tools to succeed, creating a generation of self-sufficient individuals.
