Asari Dokubo Warns Trump: “Nigeria Will Be America’s Graveyard If You Invade”

Former Niger Delta militant leader Asari Dokubo has issued a stern warning to former U.S. President Donald Trump and the American military, cautioning them against any attempt to invade Nigeria.

In a viral video shared on Facebook, the ex-leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force reacted angrily to reports suggesting that Washington might take military action over alleged persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

Speaking with fiery conviction, Asari declared that any invading American troops would face brutal resistance. “Let Trump come with his America, they will all die. Nigeria will be their graveyard,” he said.

He went on to accuse the United States of hypocrisy, criticizing the country for ignoring human rights crises in other parts of the world. “He can’t see the genocide in Congo, Gaza, or Sudan, but he’s talking about genocide against Christians in Nigeria,” Asari said.

Describing Trump as a “lunatic” and America as a “sick nation that elects madmen,” the former warlord also dismissed claims that Nigeria’s conflicts are purely religious. He emphasized that both Christians and Muslims are victims of ongoing violence in the country.

Asari, who identifies as a Muslim raised among non-Muslims, warned that he and his allies are prepared to defend Nigeria’s sovereignty if provoked. “We are not those who talk — we act,” he declared.

The video has since sparked heated reactions online, with many Nigerians divided over Asari’s confrontational tone and choice of words toward the former U.S. President.
