Baddy of Lagos Faces Setback After Successful First-Stage Surgery in Egypt

Nigerian social media personality Baddy of Lagos has encountered a complication following a successful first-stage corrective surgery at the Saudi German Hospital in Alexandria, Egypt.

The surgery comes weeks after a crowdfunding initiative was launched to support his treatment.

The campaign, organized by fellow influencer Wizarab, sought to raise funds for Baddy’s urgent medical intervention for a long-standing leg condition.

In a recent video update, Wizarab shared that Baddy underwent a 7-hour operation on his right leg, which doctors deemed successful.

However, the medical team advised against performing surgery on both legs simultaneously due to the complexity of his condition.

“Baddy has carried out a successful 7-hour surgery on his right leg. According to the doctors, they can’t operate on both legs at the same time. The left leg is a bigger operation and will require two surgeries. When he recovers, he will return to operate on the left leg,” Wizarab explained.

Baddy himself expressed both the pain he endured and his gratitude for the successful outcome.

Doctors decided to operate on the right leg only, as his body might not have tolerated concurrent procedures on both legs.

The medical team confirmed that once the right leg has fully healed, Baddy will undergo two separate surgeries on his left leg, which presents greater complications.
