In a truly remarkable funeral, 85-year-old Madam Afuwari Ego, fondly known as Ego Na Money, was laid to rest in Emeyal 1, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, in a striking Coca-Cola bottle-shaped casket.
The unique coffin, revealed during her burial on Saturday, November 22, 2025, immediately drew attention from attendees and quickly became the highlight of the ceremony.
Residents and visitors praised the imaginative design, noting it perfectly reflected Madam Ego’s lively and vibrant personality.
Family members explained the choice of the casket was to honour her lifelong love for Coca-Cola, a beverage she was famously fond of.
“Late Madam Afuwari Ego was laid to rest in a beautifully crafted Coca-Cola themed casket. The creative design added a memorable touch to her farewell, as family, friends, and the community gathered to celebrate her life,” shared Comr Ogbara Walson Henry on social media.
