BBNaija’s Imisi Opens Up About Ex-Boyfriend’s Betrayal During Pregnancy
Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Imisi, has revealed details of a painful chapter in her personal life involving betrayal during pregnancy by her ex-boyfriend, Hakeem.
Her emotional disclosure came during a heartfelt conversation with fellow housemate Kaybobo inside the BBNaija house.
Imisi described the relationship as the best she had ever experienced until her pregnancy. She shared that things took a turn for the worse after she conceived, saying Hakeem, whom she once considered deeply loving and supportive, began exhibiting cold and distant behavior.
“This last relationship was my best ever, not until I got pregnant. Everything changed. He never cheated at least I never caught him but things started going sour,” Imisi said.
When asked directly whether infidelity played a role, she admitted that Hakeem eventually began cheating. “Yeah. Stuff started happening. He would come home late. We lived together for a year. It was really crazy,” she recalled.
According to Imisi, both she and Hakeem had wanted the baby and were excited about starting a family. However, she struggled to reconcile her partner’s betrayal, especially at such a vulnerable time in her life.
“He begged me for forgiveness. He promised to change. But I couldn’t forgive him. If he could take that step while I was pregnant… I just couldn’t,” she explained.
Tragically, Imisi also disclosed that she later suffered a miscarriage three months into the pregnancy, a heartbreaking outcome that added to the emotional toll of the failed relationship.
