Bella Shmurda Explains Why He Won’t Collaborate with Portable: “I Don’t Like Wahala”
Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has candidly addressed why he has no interest in working on a music project with controversial artiste Portable.
During an appearance on the podcast Curiosity Made Me Ask, Bella acknowledged Portable as a “good man” but revealed that they lack creative compatibility.
According to him, the absence of musical synergy is the main reason behind his decision not to collaborate with Portable.
“I don’t see any connection musically,” Bella stated. “Portable is a good man in his own way, but I don’t like wahala [trouble].”
His comments suggest a preference for maintaining peace and staying away from drama something often associated with Portable’s public persona.
In response, Portable did not hold back. Taking to social media, the Zazu crooner fired shots at Bella Shmurda, mocking his musical career and questioning his relevance in the industry.
Portable claimed superiority, boasting about his international performances and labelling Bella as a “failure.”
He said in part:
“Anytime you want to do interview, don’t call my name. You cannot feature me. I’ve been to America, London. It’s not about who blew first, it’s about who is still blowing.
There’s no connection between us you are a failure. I don’t do music with failures.”
This latest clash adds to the ongoing tension between the two artists and continues to stir reactions among fans online.
