Beware of Enugu Monitor, a Conundrum of Fake News

Enugu Monitor is one blog that should not in any way rear its head on the net for the obvious reason that the blog is used by agent provocateurs, Ikem Okuhu and Aniebolam Nwamu, Chijioke Edeoga’s effete media handlers sold to the demon of mischievious fake news, to peddle lies and damaging fictions against the Enugu State Government.

In fact, the blog was also used to attack the previous administration of Governor Ugwuanyi for whom Okuhu served a media aide, but was sacked for incompetence and acts of debauchery. Aniebolam Nwamu was a school mate of Ugwuanyi’s at Saint Theresa’s College Nsukka, and had an axe to grind with Ugwuanyi out of envy, as he could not imagine his school mate rise to the position of a governor when he had nothing to show for his many years of journalism. He ended up taking residence of a one-room apartment near a block industry at Nsukka. Okuhu and Nwamu apparently vent their frustrations on Ugwuanyi and have now transferred them to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

As soon as Chijioke Edeoga failed the PDP governorship primaries and “transmogrified” to Labour Party, Okuhu and Nwamu joined him to continue with their mischievious peddling of damaging fictions and propaganda for which Edeoga is known. There was no known propaganda they did not generate against Mbah during the electioneering process; yet, they all run off like water over a duck’s back. Mbah beat Edeoga silly at the polls. To continue to remain relevant in the political scene, Edeoga migrated to the tribunal where he grovels with stupid claims of NYSC certificate against Mbah, something that gives him out as desperate and overambitious.

But Aniebolam Nwamu and Okuhu have yet to be done. The problem with these folks is that they now use Enugu Monitor blog to tell lies. They are so unscrupulous they would not bother about the damaging effects of fake news on the people. They are driven by the sadistic urge to misrepresent facts about the Mbah Administration, and relish and savour it with libidinal orgasm.

Enugu Monitor blog recently reported fake news against the Mbah Administration. Governor Mbah had a meeting with correspondents and bloggers at Government House, Enugu where he sought the support of the press to clear out of the media space the media bandits who have migrated to the social media space to continue misinforming the public about the security situation in Enugu with a view to incite fear in the people. Enugu Monitor was not present at the meeting, but then was the first to report it with lies. At no time did Mbah ask the press to help him in the NYSC certificate forgery claims, a matter that is at the Appeal Court, but Ikem Okuhu and Nwamu reported through their Enugu Monitor that Mbah asked the journalists to help him write favourable stories on the NYSC certificate forgery bunkum.

This is vile journalism at its peak. Enugu Monitor is a discredited blog that reports fake news with reckless gusto. The blog should be dismissed by Ndi Enugu,as it has no iota of truth in every bit of its news reportage. During that media parley, renowned bloggers like Journalist 101, Akalicious, Everyday News, Fountain Care Reporters, to mention but four, were there. This morning, Everyday News gave the true account of the meeting to the shame of Enugu Monitor sold to media rascality and mischievious fake news. All we can say to Ndi Enugu is beware of Enugu Monitor, a monitoring spirit of lies in witchcraft garb, flying viciously across the media firmament.
