Bobrisky Sparks Controversy After Complaining About Delayed Period Ahead of Birthday Shoot
Nigerian crossdresser and internet personality Bobrisky has stirred up fresh controversy online after lamenting a delayed menstrual period, just days before his birthday photoshoot.
In a social media post that quickly went viral, Bobrisky expressed concern that his alleged monthly cycle might coincide with his birthday shoot, making it uncomfortable for him on set.
The controversial figure, who has often claimed to have transitioned fully into a woman, reiterated his desire to experience menstruation and called for greater appreciation of women by men.
“I want my period to come before I start my birthday shoot,” Bobrisky wrote. “I want to be free. I can’t be changing pad on set.”
He went further to urge men to respect women, saying they endure much and deserve to be pampered.
“Women, we are trying. Men need to treat us better. We deserve to be spoilt. There are some conversations men shouldn’t be involved in. This topic is only for us (WOMEN) less,” he added.
The remarks ignited a social media firestorm, with many questioning the scientific plausibility of Bobrisky’s statements, while others defended his right to express himself.
@real_amara__:
“Bobrisky, please stop. This is not how menstruation works. It’s okay to identify how you want, but biology no be beans.”
@thefemalepilot:
“If this was satire, it would be funny. But it’s not satire it’s just confusing.”
@naija_jollofking:
“This is what happens when social media has no limits. Imagine complaining about periods you can’t have.”
Despite the backlash, Bobrisky remains unbothered, continuing to share glam updates ahead of his birthday while asserting his identity as a woman.
