Breaking: Residents Shutdown Ogbete main market in protests

Residents of Enugu State have taken to the streets, occupied Ogbete Main Market to protest the State Government’s decision to end sit-at-home order.
Video clips are all over social media platforms as protesters are seen going wild with excitement and bitterness.

It was reported that the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, has matched the streets across Enugu metropolis on Monday, sealing shops of people who did not open because of sit-at-home order. Going further, the State Government rolled out stringent conditions to be met by shop owners before they would be allowed to reopen for businesses.

So far, the State is divided in their reactions to Mbah’s action. While some hailed the governor as being brave, others insisted that the governor has no right to force them to come to do their private businesses on Mondays.
