Building Partnership: NANS Director of Inter-Campus Crises Management Enugu Visits Area Commander Agbani

The Director of Inter-Campus Crisis Management, Enugu State, Comrade Ogbodo Ebubechukwu Peter, and his team paid a visit to the Area Commander, Agbani, to forge a partnership. The Director stated that the essence of his visit was to familiarize himself with the security agencies, ensuring adequate peace in all campuses in Enugu State, particularly Enugu State University of Science and Technology, which is located in Agbani.

“This is a commitment to my office as Director of Inter-Campus Crises Management, Enugu State, which involves maintaining peaceful and violence-free tertiary institutions in Enugu State,” he explained.

He further emphasized that the security agencies are the backbone of his office and can play a vital role in keeping the learning environment peaceful in Enugu State.

The Area Commander accepted the proposal for collaboration and cooperation between his team, the Nigeria Police Force, and the NANS Inter-Campus Crises Management, Enugu State, to maintain a peaceful learning environment. He cited his experience from his university days at the University of Jos, where crises and cultism were rampant but have since decreased.

He emphasized that students are privileged to explore and expose themselves to the world after graduation and urged them to strive for good grades to be on the safe side. He pledged to work with the students and promised to be available anytime there is a problem, doing his best within his power.
