“Burna Isn’t Supposed to Be a Celeb” – Netizens Slams as Burna Boy Cancels Show After 41,000-Seater Venue Was Sold Out

A Nigerian popular performer, Burna Boy, has been attacked on social media for canceling his headline event scheduled for Saturday night at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands, after fans had already filled the stadium.

Fans reportedly filled the 41,000-seater venue for hours waiting for the ‘Last Last’ crooner to entertain them before canceling the supposed show.
Burna Boy came to Instagram around midnight to inform that the event will not hold, despite the fact that supporters had already filled the stadium, and were ready to watch him perform.

The ace singer said he was anticipating performing for his Dutch fans but unfortunately, it couldn’t happen due to “a number of reasons, which was best Known to him”.
He said his “amazing team has been hard at work trying to restore it but we couldn’t do it in time.”
He promised to announce a new date soon for the show.
However, Burna Boy’s reasons was not accepted by his supporters, they took to social media to scold the singer and his team over their action.

An aggrieved fan wrote: “Useless. Got us waiting for more than two hours, to cancel the show at midnight. Rubbish.”

Another fan wrote: “Burna isn’t supposed to be a celeb, doesn’t have what it takes. So unwise in handling fans, canceling shows after much delay. That’s disrespectful! More unwise are fans who idolize him, turn up every time.
