Chaos on Lagos–East Road: Lady Shares Chilling Moment Bandits Opened Fire on Night Bus
A young Nigerian woman has shared a chilling account of a violent bandit attack that occurred during her night journey from Lagos to the Eastern region, leaving passengers shaken and grateful simply to be alive.
In a now-viral TikTok video posted by @luxurydubisfram, she recalled how their commercial bus came under heavy gunfire in the middle of the night.
According to her, the attackers appeared to be targeting the bus driver specifically, firing repeatedly at the front of the vehicle in an attempt to force it to stop.
“They wanted to shoot our driver… Who says El-Roi is not at work? They almost kidnapped us last night. Please be safe out there.
If you’re planning to travel for Christmas, I’ll advise you not to except you’re going by plane,” she warned in the emotional clip.
She explained that bullets hit the bus several times, shattering windows and tearing into metal as terrified passengers screamed and prayed.
Despite the chaos, the bus driver displayed remarkable bravery. He refused to slow down or stop, maneuvering through the ambush at top speed until he finally escaped the gunmen.
Incredibly, no passenger was killed, and the entire bus made it out of the horrifying attack alive.
Social media users have since reacted strongly to the video, with many expressing fear and frustration over the worsening security situation.
