Chief Aloysius Ogbonna Congratulates Hon. Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, Commends Democratic Maturity in Aninri Elections
Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr., the Igwe Elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Nwanjoku on his emergence as the duly elected chairman of Aninri Local Government Area.
Recall that the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) on Sunday announced Hon. Ugochukwu Nwanjoku as the chairman-elect of Aninri Local Government Area following the recent council elections, a victory which many see as a reflection of the trust placed in him by the people of Aninri.
In his statement sent to newsmen on Monday, Chief Ogbonna highlighted Nwanjoku’s experience as a member of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s media team and as a former special assistant to the Governor, noting that this background equips him for effective leadership.
He encouraged Nwanjoku to prioritize inclusivity and community engagement in governance by involving citizens in decision-making so as to effectively address the needs and aspirations of the people.
The monarch-elect also praised the electorate for their participation in the democratic process, commending the peaceful conduct of the elections as a reflection of the maturity and commitment of Aninri residents to good governance.
He, however, expressed anticipation for the positive changes Nwanjoku will bring to Aninri Local Government Area and the lasting impact of his leadership.
