Chief Aloysius Ogbonna Jnr. Congratulates Hon. Ani, Urges Him to Uphold Ntu-egbenese Legacy as Enugu South Chairman

The Igwe-elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr., has congratulated Hon. Ani Caleb Onyema on his victory as the Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area.

Hon. Onyema, a son of the Ntu-egbenese clan, was elected in the local government council elections conducted by the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) on Saturday.

The monarch-elect, in a press statement issued on Monday and made available to newsmen in Enugu, described the victory as a reflection of the confidence the people of Enugu South have in Onyema’s ability to provide effective leadership.

He noted that Onyema’s past roles as a councillor and leader of the Enugu South Legislative Council have equipped him with the experience necessary to lead the council to greater heights.

Chief Ogbonna Jnr. also reminded Onyema of the high expectations placed on him by the people of Enugu South and the Ntu-egbenese dynasty. He urged him to deliver on the mandate, which has been the hallmark of the Ntu-egbenese people, emphasizing the need for service, accountability, and a commitment to improving the lives of the people.

The Igwe-elect further expressed confidence that Onyema’s tenure would be filled with meaningful accomplishments that would positively impact the community.

He assured that the Ntu-egbenese people stand in full support of the new chairman and look forward to a period of growth and development under his leadership.

On behalf of the entire Ntu-egbenese dynasty, I, Chief Aloysius Chidozie Ogbonna Jnr., the Ikemba Enugu and Igwe-elect of Ogugu Ntu-egbenese Ancient Kingdom, extend heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Ani Caleb Onyema on the remarkable victory as Chairman of Enugu South Local Government Area under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). This achievement stands as a great honor, not only to the people of Enugu South but also to the entire Ntu-egbenese dynasty.
