Comedian Mark Angel Urges Calm in Rivers State Amid State of Emergency.

Comedian Mark Angel has advised residents of Rivers State to remain calm and not protest the State of Emergency declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a video message, Mark Angel emphasized that the conflict is between the governor and the Federal Government, and not the people of Rivers State.

President Tinubu declared the State of Emergency on Tuesday, suspending Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and all elected members of the House of Assembly.

Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas (Rtd) has been appointed as Administrator to oversee the state’s affairs for six months .

Mark Angel urged residents to shun protests, stating that the “fight” is not theirs to fight. He also mentioned that the situation was predicted in their skits, but was taken lightly until now.
