Davido Declares Igbo Heritage in Response to Criticism

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he is Igbo by blood.

This came as a response to a social media user who criticized his close ties with Igbo people, warning that he might face betrayal due to being a Yoruba man.

The X (formerly Twitter) user, Yakbel, advised Davido against associating with Igbos, claiming they could not be trusted. In reply, Davido dismissed the comment and stated, “Lol. I am Igbo by blood.”
