“Davido Is Chasing Clout” – VeryDarkMan Leaks Iyabo Ojo’s Chats Over Mohbad Case

Controversial social media critic VeryDarkMan has stirred fresh drama by releasing private WhatsApp chats allegedly involving Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, in which she accuses Afrobeats star Davido of clout-chasing over the late Mohbad’s case.

This revelation comes amid an ongoing feud between VeryDarkMan and Iyabo Ojo. The critic recently claimed Iyabo had secretly apologized to Naira Marley and Sammy Larry both linked to the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death in September 2023 despite publicly calling for justice.

In the newly shared chats, Iyabo reportedly slammed Davido’s support for Mohbad as disingenuous, criticizing him for continuing to follow Naira Marley on social media while presenting himself as an advocate for justice.

“My problem is not even the black, whatever, it’s Davido, who flew down like he claimed to fight for justice, but he still dey follow Naira Marley,” the message reads.

Iyabo allegedly referred to Davido as “fake love 001” and questioned his sincerity. “That means he was chasing clout.

I am so disappointed. And to think he has been saying he is the only superstar artist who stood by Mohbad… Just fake love 001,” she reportedly said.

The chats have since gone viral, reigniting public debate around the sincerity of celebrity activism in the Mohbad case.

VeryDarkMan had earlier released screenshots of a group chat showing high-profile figures like Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo actively involved in seeking justice for the late singer.
