Davido Reunites with Daughter Imade Amid Custody Dispute

Nigerian music star Davido has reunited with his first daughter, Imade Adeleke, following a protracted custody dispute with her mother, Sophia Momodu.

The reunion comes after Davido initiated legal proceedings at the Lagos State High Court in April 2024, accusing Sophia of preventing him from seeing their daughter.

In response, Sophia submitted a 102-paragraph counter-affidavit, alleging that Davido withdrew his responsibilities as a father after their intimate relationship ended.

Sophia’s uncle, veteran journalist Dele Momodu, addressed the situation on Facebook, revealing that the court has referred the matter to alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for possible amicable settlement.

On Wednesday night, Davido shared a heartfelt photo with Imade on social media, describing the moment as the “Best day of my life.”
