Deeone Exposes VeryDarkman with Old Video Showing Davido Sponsored His Hotel Stay
Nigerian comedian Deeone has reignited an online controversy by sharing a resurfaced video that contradicts activist VeryDarkman’s past claims about Afrobeats star Davido.
VeryDarkman, popularly known for his outspoken views and no-nonsense approach on social media, had previously insisted that he never received any financial support from Davido.
According to his earlier statements, even his visit to Lagos was fully self-funded, including lodging arrangements.
However, in a newly unearthed clip posted by Deeone, VeryDarkman can be heard acknowledging the singer’s generosity:
“See the sweet room wey Davido book for me,” he said in the video, smiling and showing off the hotel room.
Deeone, who shared the video across his platforms, used it to question the activist’s credibility, asking, “Can someone who lies like this truly claim to have integrity?”
The video quickly went viral, sparking debates across social media, with fans and followers of both parties chiming in.
