Dele Momodu Warns Potential 2027 Contenders: Prepare for a Tough Battle Against Tinubu and Wike.

Dele Momodu, a former presidential candidate and media entrepreneur, has issued a stark warning to any individuals considering a run in the 2027 presidential election going up against President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike will be a formidable challenge.

In a recent interview on Arise Television, Momodu highlighted Tinubu’s significant political clout, which has only intensified with Wike’s partnership.

“Even before becoming president, Tinubu posed a significant challenge; now, with Wike on his team, preparation is crucial,” he stated. “Contenders for 2027 should think of this as a World Cup where only the best players will do.”

Momodu also criticized the refusal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum to join a proposed opposition coalition led by former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar. He expressed concern that this decision may unintentionally support Tinubu’s administration.

This coalition includes not just Atiku, but also former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai and ex-Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi. Despite their meeting in Ibadan, the PDP governors announced their unwillingness to participate.“Opposition leaders are determined to collaborate this time.

The reality is that Atiku cannot succeed alone, and neither can Peter Obi or Kwankwaso, and anyone aiming to run must strategize to retaliate against the APC,” Momodu explained.
