Delta PDP to Initiate Legal Action Against Senator Ned Nwoko Following Defection

Elected and appointed officials from the Delta North senatorial district are preparing to pursue legal avenues in order to reclaim the senatorial mandate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Senator Ned Nwoko, who has recently switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

This decision emerged from a meeting led by the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme.Onyeme emphasized, “Delta North must continue to be a PDP stronghold.

We need to reinforce our role as the key players in all elections in Delta State.”

He also urged local government chairmen to engage effectively with the grassroots by aligning with Governor Oborevwori’s More Agenda through initiatives that enhance the community’s welfare.
