Diddy Combs Accused of Trafficking Three Women in 20-Year Abuse Scheme, Say Prosecutors
Prosecutors announced on Thursday that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is charged with trafficking at least three women as part of a two-decade-long sexual abuse scheme. This revelation came with the filing of a new criminal indictment against the hip-hop mogul, who is currently incarcerated.
The new indictment includes three counts, alleging that Combs transported the female victims and commercial sex workers both across state lines and internationally. This update follows last September’s indictment, which mentioned only one female victim.
Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to the previous charges, and prosecutors are seeking a new arraignment for him.
According to the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office, Combs purportedly exploited his vast business empire, including his record label Bad Boy Entertainment, to perpetrate sexual abuse against women. The indictment claims he lured women with promises of financial support, career enhancement, and romantic involvement, as well as using drugs like ketamine, ecstasy, methamphetamine, and psychedelic mushrooms for manipulation.
While the women involved have not been publicly named, it is suggested that one of the victims is Casandra Ventura, known as Cassie, a former girlfriend of Combs. She previously filed a civil lawsuit against him, alleging repeated physical and sexual abuse, but withdrew her claims the day after filing. Combs has denied all allegations against him.
